I guess anyone who uses clientprefs.smx should be updating to 1.4.4-hg3520 because it contained a crash fix for the clientprefs extension.

1.4.4-hg3520 works fine. It has to be a plugin you have installed.

edit: sevrer crashes everytime i press a button in a sm menu

You're using an outdated version of SourceMod. You must update to the latest snapshots of either 1.4 or 1.5. Here's the guide for upgrading SourceMod.

You need to have the latest snapshot of the 1.4.4+ for CS:S to work. I have the latest 1.5.0 snapshot and everything has been working pretty good... uptime 9 1/3 hours right now for our servers
