I almost see it no different than those popping up off TF2items when you visit the page thru a !bp command from that plugin. Annoying no matter where they are but I do understand the point.

I used adsense a few times on motd page, so I could still show rules ect. About 5 times my new accounts were shut down, though never told why. This makes perfect sense now

Use http://pinion.gg if you can live without an MOTD. They're those video ads you see sometimes and they pay $1.50 per 1000 impressions. I'm getting around $45 monthly from them.
