I installed SMAC and the required includes, etc. When I copy the smac.smx and all the plugins, it shows that they are installed (sm plugins list) and I can connect, but within a minute I get a connection failed message and I have to disconnect. Other clients get the same thing or can't connect at all. I did not recompile anything, just installed the .smx files and extracted the zip file to the appropriated folders on the server. I did not change any settings, everything is default. When I remove the plugins (all of them) the server goes back to normal. Suggestions? I'd really love to get this working.

UPDATE: I tried removing each plugin one by one to identify the problem, but it seems I have to remove the smac.smx itself for the server to accept connections again.

Hi.
I have seen this error on some servers, with the newest SM. Try removing the connect.ext from your addons/sourcemod/extensions folder. That extension not let to connect nobody with newest sourcemods, in my opinion. The SMAC works well. Not need to remove all. I hope this information helpful for you.

Thanks, I did that. SMAC seems to be working but I get some errors when I type sm exts list.

One error complains about connect.ext.dll failing and the other is something to do with curl not loading. I installed curl, but it still says it can't find the dll even though it is in the extensions folder.

How do I know if SMAC is actually doing anything? It does announce "This server is protected by SMAC" when the maps change.

sm plugins , sm plugins 11 , sm plugins 22 , etc.
to your console when you are on your server?
If you see here all smac module, then the smac works.
Your server are windows based?

You not need run that connect.ext extension to get SMAc work.
It's for prevent connect spam, but valve have updated new cvars for this (maybe not best fix I'm afraid).

OK all the plugins say they are installed. Where is the SMAC.log file? I don't see it in any log folder. Is there some other way I can monitor what SMAC is doing?

But you can found that only after he ban or kick somebody.
