I'm trying to install the MySQL version of perkmod2 on my Ubuntu L4D2 server.
I have created a database called 'sourcemod' via webmin, and have given the l4d2 user full permissions on it.
This error comes up... What have I done incorrectly?
Code:
[perkmod2.smx] Failed to connect to database: [2002]: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)
I googled the error and it seemed that it was a my.cnf config issue, where you have something set incorrectly. Mine did not look like theirs but I have not edited the sock path...
