Noticed alot of commands have gone I think? like radius etc?

With regards to: 'l4d_witch_chance_followsurvivor 0', the witch still wanders around when it should not be, so thats not fixed.

The start message has gone which is good.

The range setting you have, it doesn't seem to make much difference what it is set at. If i'm say, a boomers vomit distance away from the witch after the first knock down, she won't switch target to attack anyone else.

She also doesnt attack until she is shot, she just tends to stand there getting angry but wont come after them. Not sure if thats always been the case or not though.

If l4d_witch_chance_followsurvivor set to 0, this plugin will do nothing to move a witch ( witch still can walk around, if she spawned as a walk witch);

If some one in witch's vision range ( l4d_witch_range_vision ), the witch have a chance to fellew him , it determined by " l4d_witch_chance_followsurvivor"

" ------ I have tested, and tried all sort of methods, but I can not let a witch attak someone in all situation, especially if she is a walking witch, especially if survivors is not close to her. If I compel her to attack someone, then she will run away witchout attacking, This can be happed when you shot at a witch , she have a chance to run away witchout attacking you.
Soryy , I have try my hard.
All this is tested in coop mode, I do not know which mode are you play, perhaps there are some diffirences in versus mode.

I will give the new version a try later today and get back to you. Thanks for your continued support on this one.

I play versus as well, its much better challenge even if the team do rage alot of the time after dying :p

The witch still spawns as a walking which every time, and continus to ignore the "l4d_witch_chance_followsurvivor 0" setting. But, maybe this is because she is spawning as a walking witch every time? I think in version 1.3 the witch spawned correctly but since then it keeps spawning as walking.

As i said though, I play in versus only so maybe in campaign this is different?

Sorry about that, "l4d_witch_chance_followsurvivor"is not used in code, I made a mistake.
Please set "l4d_witch_range_vision" to 0;

hey hey... can you maybe provide me a link to the 1.3 or 1.4 sources?

I just need that she switches to the next surv. when he´s killed...

Yeah, can you explain what do you mean by "with follow survivors"? Doesn't already she follow normally survivors until she kill someone?

Making range vision 0 stops her from walking every time, this is ideal and how it used to work.

However, she doesn't ALWAYS attack the other survivors now. Sometimes she will scream, incap, then scream again, then carry on attacking the incapped guy, even though the others are standing next to the witch.

Yeah i noticed that too...
It's really random and really buggy, i can't make her do what i simply want to do.
Could you just cut out all those range vision, and follow survivors chance cvars(which make her crazy and buggy) and just use 2 cvars?
1) Plugin off/on
2) l4d_witch_changetarget 1/0

For the vision range problem, can you make it so after he incapped/killed a survivor (depending on a cvar), she run towards another survivor UNTIL she "hit" him/her (so she will follow him/her never "giving up")?
How can you do it?
What about (don't know if possible):
after she kill/incap a survivor, you calm her (if possible without replacing her, if not, delete that witch, and spawn another in the same spot, with the same health of the previous one), and then make it so she "get damaged by a random survivor's bullet", so she will start again running towards another survivor, and so on...
