I love the idea of this plugin but a couple of things stop me using it atm, first off I think the fact there is no sound when it activates annoys people because it just randomly slows down, I was thinking just to use it when the witch and tank dies but I the fact that it only kicks in when the tank has finished dying kinda ruins in, like was said before it need to activate on tank incap, also it always seems to activate on molys being thrown and I can't see a cvar to turn it off, or am I just missing something?

If that stuff was fixed it would be awesome, thanks for making this though

I have it on my schedule to rewrite this plugin, I have no specific day on when I'll start doing that.

!Nice Work McFurry. Yesterday I installed Your "Zed Time" plugin on my dedicated server to give it a try. I'm a big fan of Killing Floor and have hosted a KF dedicated server with many mods. Therefore, I was prepared to be very critical. But Your Zed Time thinggy started working and with four very good L4D2 players I had to change some of the settings on the ZT cfg to 2 because we were getting a little too much ZT. I still may have to tweek the cfg a little bit more. However, ZT was a BIG hit on the server last night and ZT will stay on the server.

Hello there.

Amasing plugin, i also love killinf floor and i am realy plaese with this plugin. I use it on my server exp realism coop. SOme guys raged it today because they did not liked it, others said it was triggering too much.

I was wondering since i don't play versus and only coop, can i set it so that when i player get incaped it trigers zed time (1 out of x chances)? Is there already a command for that, that maybe i did not understood that command description.

I tweaked a bit the numbers and raised l4d2_zed_surv_chance to 80. I set l4d2_zed_pipe_chance to 3 because i realy like the slow motion when a pipe explode. I was wondering what was the distance in meters or in a unit i could understand with this command :

even with l4d2_zed_surv_chance 240 it still triggers very oten, its almost like the cvar has no effect on the cahnces of it trigering, i had to diabled it because it was pissing ppl off way too much sadly, even if i like it

i think its buged somewhere with the triger chances.

Ppl complain that it makes the game lag, i dont know exactly how as everything seems ok to me, that is on a server with 100 tickrate and when i connect to the server i see absolutly no lags during slow motions even with lerp at 0.01 everything is ultra smooth.

So after trying many different settings the plugin seems to trigger still way too often, even if i put zed time chance when tank killed to 0 it will always triger when tank die.

im still trying different stuff but i think a MESSAGE with a sound should be played when Zed time kicks in and kicks out as ppl often think its server laging and not Zed time.

if i dont manage to fix it ill keep it only for when pipes explodes cuz its awesome like this.

ps : it also trigger when you throw a molotov. this is unintended obiously.

The fact that there is no info saying that the game slow down due to Slow motion makes 9/10 ppl dislike it, a lot even rage on the first zed time trigger. It need a sound cue like matrix sound or the one in Killing Floor. That and/or a message saying its slow motion time.

I have to disable it now cuz ppl hate it
