Hey,

my TF2 server crashes (restart) on map change with the new update.
rtv works fine but if the time runs to an end 0:00 and map change will be triggert it just crashes (restart)
no error logs.

had changed vphysics but no help.

#EDIT:
Problem does not happen if i change roundtiem to 1minute

#EDIT2:
Got fixed. presents.smx was causing the server crash on map change.

I get the same thing, can't seem to find a pattern, just after a few hours it goes down on mapchange.

My servers too seem to be crashing sometimes when the map changes. I have no idea what is causing it since I see no errors in my logs.

I had same... no errors.
What I did:

updated SM, MM, SDKHooks, moved all non SM plugins in disabled folder and resated the server.

map change worked after that.
next I moved 2-3 plugins form disabled folder back to plugins folder and restarted server again and was waiting for map change.

and so on until server crashed bcs of one plugin.

I removed this one plugin and everything working now.

Also this could help you:

it was causing a server crash on map change... so I had to remove it.

I'd like to hear from you

bye
Post your errors/other logs and crash info in the thread, and maybe others will be able to help you out. It's working ok for me.

Keep in mind, crashes normally aren't the result of plugins. They're the result of outdated gamedata/extensions which the plugins depend on. Hence if the plugin isn't used, the extension doesn't take effect, causing no crash. Update everything, then post in the thread.

good luck guys!

#EDIT:
installed today latest
development branch sourcemod -> all plugins are working now
you can try with dev. SM but switch to stable if its out.
Map chnage is fine.
No problems at this time.

Please keep us updated Acrobat. We had our server running good for several hours too and I thought I had cleared the bad plugins but then we got some nasty nasty lag in the AM hours and highping kicker kicked everyone. Server's full right now as you can see in my sig.

I got new crash errors:

Once on mapchange:
Code:
Closing pack file with open files!
CUtlLinkedList spam on mapchange:
Code:
CUtlLinkedList overflow! (exhausted memory allocator)
CUtlLinkedList overflow! (exhausted memory allocator)
CUtlLinkedList overflow! (exhausted memory allocator)
CUtlLinkedList overflow! (exhausted memory allocator)
CUtlLinkedList overflow! (exhausted memory allocator)
CUtlLinkedList overflow! (exhausted memory allocator)
CUtlLinkedList overflow! (exhausted memory allocator)
CUtlLinkedList overflow! (exhausted memory allocator)
CUtlLinkedList overflow! (exhausted memory allocator)
CUtlLinkedList overflow! (exhausted memory allocator)
And once CUtlLinkedList not on mapchange, but during game!

Looks like a new server update was just released for TF2. Hopefully this will fix these annoying crashes, since I have already disabled so many of my plugins and the crashes still occur.

EDIT: Nope, all maps server is still crashing on map change..
