mine is working great, but I compiled myself, have the colors.inc (not the first time i've needed it) uncommented the define colors...

but no color.. do I have to put color tags in myself?

Yep you'll have to put color tags yourself in your scrollingrules.phrases.txt and scrollingrulesdata.phrases.txt like in the example at the top of this topic.

Hi there and thanks for this plugin. I installed colors.inc but i'm still not getting any colores. I also recompiled the plugin with those comments removed. This is my phrases file:

"Rule03" { "en" "1){lightgreen}Speak English or get kicked" } "Rule04" { "en" "2) Don't talk if your balls haven't dropped" } "Rule05" { "en" "3){red}All classes are limited to 3 maximum" } "Rule06" { "en" "4) Playing music is allowed unless 2 or more people protest" }

Also the rules don't seem to automatically show after a player joins. And what do you mean by 'how to' message?

For the colors i don't know what's your problem at the moment, if you installed color.inc like explained HERE and recompiled this plugin with #define USECOLORS uncommented it should work.

About rules not showing up, this depends on the scrollingrules_interval setting, did you set it to a new value or not ?

The "how to" message is the message shown to the users to explain them what to type in to see the rules "on demand" it's a message like :
"type !rules in chat to view our rules"
