r3dw3r3w0lf: the engy's worked around that, by just picking up the sentry and placing it again. Then you can repair it... seems like a good step in between.

I found a particle effects fix that works locally, but can I apply the file to the server and have people use it instead of their own?

Kryptos: you can't have the server overwrite files that the client already has. In other news, valve will probably fix that soon.

I'd test prop_dynamics as custom viewmodel (used in my coming Demoman The Pirate plugin-pack), and this is working perfectly. I think it can be used to make true HALE's fists for Hale's viewmodel.

For the hale rotation:

You can also just use a default database config, put the steamid and some form of knowing when that person was hale. Then just select the player and check it with the rest.. then on map change delete entry's where players have not been hale for xx days to clean up old steamid's. Sure a database might be overkill but it will get the job done in a proper manor. (and you can also just use sqllite for local storage if people dont have a mysql database for instance)

using a database is an awesome idea. about knowing when the person has been hale the last time, just use the timestamp of the server
