@AtomicStryker Does L4DT2 modify weapon attributes?
|
We've been working on that for a new version. I've recently put in some changes myself to allow some other edits that people may find useful.
Left4Downtown 0.5.3 Preview
We're getting ready to release a new version of left4downtown2, but we need some feedback from people.
New Features:
- Editing Weapon and Melee Weapon attributes (
l4d2weapons.inc
- Actual campaign score editing, Tank flow % editing, and reading of the tank count (
l4d2director.inc)
Now, not everything here works perfectly. So much about the weapons in this game are client-predicted, so not every weapon edit is going to do something. We'd like to get some feedback from developers on what works/what is useful, and then tailor our includes before release.
The campaign score editing should actually work with these new natives--previously people were just editing the copied gamerules values, but now we can edit the director directly (asian tongue twister).
Tank flow percentage is something calculated at the beginning of every versus map, to determine where the tank will spawn in terms of flow percentage for each round. By editing this value, you should be able to change where the tank will spawn.
The tank count should be the number of tanks currently in play. This number should work well to just check "is there a tank in play" if necessary.
Test builds:

Windows: not yet

If any developers are interested in these features, we'd love your feedback.
