Do you think it would be possible to just force all stock weapons instead of enforcing attributes.


I'm trying to set up one of my servers to be a "vanilla no-unlocks" server, I tested out the unlock replacer and it works fine, but the problem I see with it is, while it keeps players from using unlocks they have to manually edit their load-outs to re-equip stock items.


I have not tried loading this one yet, but for some items you say it forces the original weapon, eg. shotgun for buff banner.

Would it be possible to just force all old weapons, so you don't have something like a direct hit with normal rocket launcher properties?

Sure. Just set sm_tnounlockspls_alwaysreplace to 1.
Change it in your cfg/sourcemod/plugin.tNoUnlocksPls.cfg !

Curious, isn't the new item_whitelist.txt file provided by Valve a few updates ago able to block unlocks (natively) now?

I'm using it in conjunction with matchmod plugin and I believe it was provided at request of competitive community in order to block and without having players having to manually edit.

only in tournament mode
also turning it on/off requires a server restart afaik.

Well I just tested it and as you said it works, but what I was asking for was if it could force replace all models. For example, it gives the brass beast the properties of sasha, but replaces the sandvich with the shotgun. Is it possible to have it swap the brass beast for sasha instead of switching properties?
