Is there any possibility to find through a plugin the operating system of the computer on which the server is running?

I read somewhere that the guy found out the operating system and the configuration, but i also think it was fake...

Still, how it's related to Amxx or what usage you want to do exactly ? I just want to understand, by curiosity, how such data can be useful.

For example you want to check if the hosting provider tells the truth related to the operating system.

If there would be a way to check the operating system that specifically, there sure would be a way to outrun it. Even google likes to make it's bots look like "plain users" sometime. It is nessesery to check if the server is not segregating "plain users" next to big company searchbots.

will it return 0 or 1 if the OS is mac OS X ?
