When i start server with console - my SM/MM don't load , and i can't join server. Is there any fix? I use last snapshot.
When i start server with gui - all works fine, but i wan't get to work autorestart with bat file.
How to start server automaticly with gui? If i just delete "-console", it loads this.
But i want to pass clicking "Start server"

Do you run MMS using ...addons/metamod.vdf -file ?

Do you play game and host server (srcds) same time on same computer ?
Remove -port 27015 from your launch parameters and try join your server now what happens...

can i make a suggestion. if you play l4d2 on the same computer as when your server is. i suggest you use 27016 port. because sometimes you get errors when running the server on port 27015 and playing l4d2, either l4d2 will shut down, or the server

yes, also i don't see server in lan tab ("openserverbrowser") if i run server with console (without gui)

Thx, will use it when i get to work console version of srcds.

Good to know, I haven't thought that there is a difference.
I looked from http://developer.valvesoftware.com/w...d_Line_Options
and there is explanation.

• 5.1 Command-line parameters
  These parameters what start (-) are harcoded startup commands in srcds.exe, not cvars. Can't use on console when server is running.

• 5.2 Console variables
  These parameters what start (+) set srcds cvars, like rcon_password, sv_gravity 800 etc. etc. what you find from console.
  Seems there cvars what you can't change during game play, like maxplayers
