Try to remove downtown. If you need to increase max players use l4dtoolz instead. I think downtown could cause your problems. So unless you need it for anything specific I would remove that plugin first. It has a lot of issues. You can always remove it as test for this plugin since it isn't required.

I do indeed need left4downtown for the SRS mod.

But over the weekend I did try removing downtown, amongst other things, to see if a process of elimination would get biletheworld to work. It didn't.

Fresh linux server install with nothing more than is required to get this plugin working still results in the server failing to start. But it's just me? *sigh*

No, it's definitely not just you. On my Linux server, I've also tried narrowing down where the problem would be in terms of plugin conflicts, mismatched extensions, etc., and I can't figure out what is causing the issue either. My server will NOT start if I have BtW active. Surely there are others who are experiencing the same issues.

Take this version, it will log every action of itself, then provide the log.

I keep suspecting you simply dont know how to setup servers.

I run a Linux server through Gameservers and I have SDKHooks installed properly and when I add this plugin's Adresses.txt to my sm/gamedata folder I get segmentation faults so maybe this is where the errors for the other linux server owners are coming from

Looks like the log isn't all that exciting... As I mentioned previously, the plug causes the server to keep restarting.
