Plugin to correct the fact that in Alien Swarm Game if you only start with 1-3 theres no ai bots replaceing the missing players, wasnt quite sure how to word the request but in l4d/2 u can start a lobby with just 1 or 2, but you still play as 4 as the other 2 remain as AI bot's.

I tried that in console i got unknown command (cl_selectm 0)

besides im talking server side thats client side i believe

ok i did does work cl_selectm 0 0 etc but in game lobby only doesnt seem to function as a server.cfg command so this deffinately needs a plugin

Do a lobby, type cl_selectm *number here*, there are 8 marines, but Sarge is listened as 0, so 7 numbers - 7 is Vegas, 4 is Jaeger, you get the point. You can't do that IN-Game only IN LOBBY.

You cannot get more than 3 ai bots, its not like l4d where you can add 6, 8, or more than default bots and players. Maybe when a plugin and the dll is installed.

@dyzer thanks for the info regarding private msg response, but i dont know were the autoexec.cfg which doesnt exsist in either server or hard drive local installation is supposed to be?

@Marcus101RR were in agreement then that a plugin is needed such as the Left12Dead plugin, which spawns bots which people can jump into provided the number of bots doesnt exceed the number of slots purchased from the server provider and meets with downtown extension/l4dtools etc mods in the case of ASW that would be astools plugin (some issue over 5players though), actually i spawned 4bots includeing myself but the 5th stays behind no matter what

I found this .cfg file go.cfg it has this written in it

cl_selectm 0 -1
cl_selectm 1 -1
cl_selectm 2 -1
cl_selectm 3 -1
cl_start

What if -1 was changed to a different number?
