I'm doing some testing before the update is released this week but I am running into trouble. I am running the following:

When I run the server I get "[SM] Unable to load extension "game.cstrike.ext": The specified module could not be found."

Am I doing something wrong? Or is this normal? :/

I got the same problem. I hope it will be solved once the game is official, maybe this has something to do with the game directory being cstrike instead of cstrike_beta?

This is normal for the moment. The extension does not load because it is built for the old engine. Expect the snapshots to have another build of it included sometime soon.

Ah ok, I hope everything goes smoothly for the update. Also hope CSSDM is updated, I have 2 servers running that addon which are very busy servers.

CSSDM is also coming soon. I already have it loading (although untested ingame).
