That's exactly what I thought it was, and proven it was. I checked the server FPS and set its max to 550. When I used this as a test, it so called boosted it to "1000". When I checked the server side info by check FPS, its max was up to 550, but in the server it listed 1000. This is completely false, also the fact that you shouldn't be able to exceed over 1000 fps in a HL1 Engine based game.

i try make stable mm:s version, and i found some problem.
if use mms_insane 1 or 2, set fps_max 0 or > 1000, sv_cheats 0, server clock or trick will go 10 times faster, which mean, round time count down from 1:00 to 0:00 within 10 seconds!!
if set to sv_cheats 1, server clock back to normal

raydan, you might as well stop trying since this "plugin" does nothing in HL1, so why bother attempting to convert it?

ya-ya-ya.. Did you really believe to 3 flashmobbers and one guy who don't even know how to set and check FPS? I LOL'D

Ok, I'll let you guys know one little secret. There is some usefull thing in HL1 engine called netgraph, you can turn it on by setting net_graph cvar to 1 on your client.

There is screenshot of netgraph with unboosted sys_ticrate 100 on serverside, that, as YamiKaitou thinks, should be enough:

Do you see peaks on bottom graph? They appear when server failed to send packets in time because of unstable fps.


Stable 100FPS with mm_insane 2:

Peaks are gone.

We already established that it displays fake fps. lol.

+ Those images really don't make sense including the fact that fps is not constant, but varies. A video would be more suitable to prove your point.
