You don't make playlists for this plugin...

My error logs are full of:
Code:
L 02/27/2010 - 08:09:27: [jukebox.smx] Failed check for existing Username. Error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ''★N-l3aNG''' at line 1
I think it has to do with peoples names interfering with the SQL command. Anything you can do about that?

The discussion on playlists is a hypothetical discussion on a possible future feature. Right now you can't really build a playlist ahead of time, though anyone can keep queuing up new songs and they will play back as though they were in a playlist.

I think that is because you have a frequent visitor with username characters that break the SQL query from that person. That is an error in the code and the next release already includes a fix for that.

could you make an in game search? eg:
"!jb_search ween"
and the results would be the same as the search in the admin php.
then you are prompted AFTER you select a song to queue or play now.

This is being unapproved for now as it is not safe to run with SQL injections possible from unescaped user input. It can be reapproved after a new version is posted with these resolved. If you need help, just ask.

You can already do
Code:
!jb search for whatever you want
Sorry for the un-approval Sounds like you already have a fix.

That's fine, and I do have a fix, so I'll just edit the last release and include this one fix.

Attached is release version 0.5.3.3. The only change is the addition of escaped SQL queries to protect from SQL injection.

There are a couple people I helped debug their server. I made code changes for some of you to provide an immediate fix. If I told you "the next release will include this fix", this is not that release. You should consider not installing this release and waiting for the next one.
