Thanks for the quick reply. I'm running a map with a fairly large indoor area and only apply the particles to a smaller, outdoor area. Here's an example of what I meant: Player A connects to server followed by player B, both being able to see the themed color. Both players enter the particle area. Player A disconnects from server and player B's color changes back to the default map color. Player A reconnects and player B will see a switch back to the theme color only after Player A enters the particle area.

I've been having a small issue with themesets, and I'm hoping somebody can tell me what I'm doing wrong.

For some reason a map will always load with theme1, regardless of the time. Here's an example:

The map will always load the theme "summer", in this case. If I were change "summer" to "autumn" then the map would load with "autumn" instead, so it's not just defaulting to "summer". The thing is, even if it was late at night, "summer" will always load.

Have I got something wrong here?

What would I need to do if I wanted nothing more than Skybox changes for the different times of day? I've removed everything from the themes that reference particle usage and left the skybox changes in. What files as far as soundscapes and particles do I need to remove to stop users from having to download?

J-Factor... someone else asked, but I didn't see the answer. Any possibility this can be adjusted for L4D2? Obviously the appeal goes beyond TF2.

hello again..

no one can answer me ?
i just want use for specific maps another theme not only the same ... i already tryed in maps.cfg changed the "themeset" to some theme like night or autumn or theme1-themexxx but stay always default then in game .. only if i change cvar sm_themes_next_theme to some theme then works but this is for always maps the same theme sorry
i just dont know what doing wrong

hope anyone can help me ..

Hi i was wondering if you(or anyone) knows of a way to make it possible to use custom skybox textures with the theme's plugin?
It would be a nice feature to have as i seen a custom space skybox texture that would work really well with some maps its a shame it cant be used
