I like the sound of that too, of maybe make them cycle through all the colours of the rainbow to indicate their accent to heaven shortly ;)

Thanks for plug-in though, its handy

I just tentatively added a white glow to black and white survivors.

The cvar that controls it, l4d_bandw_glow, defaults to OFF (0). If you want to test this, set it to ON (1).

It seemed to work (mostly) correctly for me. What I'm not sure about is the glows properly resetting on heal (especially if people have custom glow configs).

Also, has anyone had trouble with this with defibs? It shouldn't have had issues with them before (unless you were running the black and white defib mod), but it may show up now.

Ok white glow is cool but when one of them dies the white glow stands above them like a ghost which is actually kinda handy for finding the body xD

But still I guess it's a bug, looks cool though

Also, after they were brought back to life they still had the white glow, even after everyone on the team died and level restarted.

Hmm, the fact he was still white after restarting level I think might have been campaign bug O_O

Does the glow go away properly if you heal people?

I think as far as vs goes it's working other then the fact that when they die a white outline of that person appears standing above their body, it's actually quite funny, plus it helps you find the body for defibing

Also it doesn't seem to affect the guns so they glow a different colour

Well, the guns aren't black and white. And I'd rather not try to track down those entities.

If the healing reset is working, I can also do that on death/defib. Personally, I'd rather survivors be as hard as possible to defib, so that will probably be fixed in a coming build. Normal glows are getting reset then? Green/orange/red for health levels, etc?

True but looks a little odd, fair enough though prolly more trouble then it's worth lol

On my server I use B&W on defib http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=111367

I won't know what effect that has, as when I bring them back to life with defib they are still white, so I don't know what happens to the ghosts if I disable it, I will try it.
