Add this to your sourcemod.cfg

So what happened with KAC auto-update, log is full with error messages about it...

Got hacked. Yesterday I updated to the latest ver of KAC. I had kac_rcon_crashprevent 1 set. I had removed RCON locker because I heard it wasnt really needed when using this. I had been running rcon locker for months and no issues. The day I remove it I get nailed. My password was set to "chUbutasp8dutru7eneqey5p", so it was fairly strong. Definately not blaming KAC, but I think it is a good idea to keep RCON Locker even with this option enabled.

Or incrase this:
kac_cmds_spam "15"

i also use this:

kac_removecmd joinclass
kac_removecmd menuselect
kac_removecmd menuclosed
kac_removecmd menuopen

Just a question,

Can anyone clarify what Command changelevel violation exactly is?

Found quite a few CSS bans for this reason,

So do we need SDKHooks and Socket? Why isnt an auto cfg created in the SM cfg folder? I hate adding SM cvars to other cfgs.

You shouldnt force people to use socket, the minute socket breaks from an update is the minute you are SOL for an update and the minute every single server is unprotected. It also means higher maintenance for servers unless it can auto update itself. I avoid extensions since they always break first, even if they dont use gamedata. Probably why SM wont integrate it into SM since they dont want to have to fix another extension after updates, which also goes for cbase.

It's not to much to add to the sourcemod.cfg
you would need to edit the values one place or another.

Kigen is not interested in supporting parallel versions of KAC
He is currently unemployed and you get what he chooses to create.
I'm pleased that he spends as much time on KAC as he does.

Honestly not trying to irritate you in my reply.
I'm just trying to support Kigen as he has stated that only one version of KAC will be supported.

so socket extensions are needed for the KAC update service only and aren't needed for anything else?

if so, we just could disable/uninstall sockets and KAC would work as designed nevertheless, except the update functionality?

Hi, Kigen. Is there a way to view list of commands or cvars KAC is currently blocking? I'm just curios is command benchmark blocked or not.
