So i fixed my web page problem so please disregard the upper message i have a new problem now when i click add music or browse i get this error any help would be great

error 0 means that mysql cannot start. it's a problem with your hosting and we can't really help you with that

Hey, thats dumb! When i first tried JB on my web server, it did not work. When i set short_open_tag = On it still wasnt working, so i set register_globals = on too and it started working! Now when i set register_globals = Off its still working!

So.. What the hell is going on there?

I managed to fix my MD5 checksum error from a few posts ago (#201) for some reason the specified folders permissions required execute permissions as well as read and write permissions, if anyone could shed some light on this I would be grateful. If this seems correct please could you update the documentation.

I want to set

short_open_tag = On
register_globals = On

Please could someone tell me which file to set these in.

Still seems to be realted to the SQL stuff like before. I have dreamhost as well and all I had to do was add the correct IP address filter to the user I was using to connect to the database. That is done from Goodies > MySQL Databases then edit user.

The fact that you are getting an error with the web page tells me that your web config file is not setup correctly. From your jukebox directory you need to edit include/settings.php to point to your database. $dbhost should be something like mysql.robbyswords.adhdblogger.com (you can find it in Goodies > MySQL Databases). $dbuser, $dbpass, and $database should all be straight forward and all but the password should be displayed on the Goodies > MySQL Databases page as well.

You can set it globally in php.ini. register_globals is an old setting and is no longer used in newer versions of php. short_open_tag should be set to 1 by default.

was anyone's problem simply the fact they couldn't hear music and now they can? i still have no leads here and it's very frustrating.

Ok my last Problem is the music is not play iname everthing works right the website and everthing but when i pick a song to play it picks it but i hear nothing any help would be great
