Is there a way to check how much CPU usage AMXModX is using? Or like how much CPU usage each plugin is using?

Thanks.

No. You can get an idea by removing things from your server at peak times and seeing how CPU usages compare in the same conditions.

I thought there was something you type in console that showed a % of server cpu usage being used as your plugins are running. And this % will change with the amount of ppl on the server. I thought I saw this here in these forums somewhere. But you folks should know. I just swear I saw it somewhere here.

edited: So funny...I searched through and it was me that asked about this. One of my first post ever here. http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthr...rver+cpu+usage

hlsw/console, type: stats

Yes you can just type stats, but that is like your whole server cpu usage not just amx.

Code:
02:32:51 CPU In Out Uptime Users FPS Players
         25.50 169.32 212.58 21790 42742 1000.00 31
See...I want to figure out why it's using 25%. Lol. Because like a long time ago HLGuard was making it use around 80% which makes everyone lag in de_aztec. Although now it doesn't lag at all in any maps...I'm just wondering why this 1000fps server is using a lot compared to my 500fps server form Nuclearfallout which peaks at 32 players too, both full all day.

25% doesnt seem like alot at all considering 31 players at 1000fps...

i usually get around 50-60% (depending on the map) when at 25 players and 200-300 fps

and 2) i dont believe thats a true stats print out.. as it rarely if EVER would give the fps at such an even number..

Also, the higher your FPS, the more CPU will be utilized.

That 1000 flat FPS is rare to see - especially with that many players. You must have a very stable HLDS running on a stable computer. You can expect a REGULAR computer running as a server to not be as good as a SERVER computer. Nuclearfallout is a good example - they use octo-core CPUs - what else do you expect? Obviously an octo-core is FAR superior to a dual-core running out of a house. I'm assuming you are running this out of your house but I may be wrong. CPU usage is dependent on optimization which you probably don't have especially if you're running HLDS on windows XP without any direct optimizations. PLUS, hopefully you don't play the game on the same computer as the one you run it on - that may be a problem ;-).
