not quite. r_screenoverlay can only "LightmappedGeneric" and "Modulate" i think. while Env_ScreenOverlay can use any type of texture including "UnlitGeneric" which is what im going to be using.

how do i set the clients flags when they are on the ground to null. in other words when a player is on the ground how do i set there flags to not be on the ground
