Haha nice one.
I can imaging a load of servers adding this and then setting it to override just for admins to play with ;) |
Re: Blink (Self-Teleport) v1.0 by Pinkfairie
It's an admin command set with the kick flag

Re: Blink (Self-Teleport) v1.0 by Pinkfairie
Can I suggest that you make the flag customisable and even allow admins to give all clients the ability to do it?
What about the ability to blink another player. sm_blink : teleports you to where you are aiming sm_blink PlayerName : teleports PlayerName to where you are aiming Just an idea |

Re: Blink (Self-Teleport) v1.0 by Pinkfairie
Where did you get the idea from? WoW? :p
Also if you want it to be add it to players to do blink you should do a limited of how far they can teleport. Like in wow it's about 30 yards. |
Re: Blink (Self-Teleport) v1.0 by Pinkfairie
Anychance you could grab the portals from Portal and use them for entries and exits? Without the view 'thru' the portals just the animations would be slick.

Re: Blink (Self-Teleport) v1.0 by Pinkfairie
you can't use the entitys but you could remake it with those models. But don't think you will be able to see true it or something like that like in portal. Or fall true it or what ever :p

Re: Blink (Self-Teleport) v1.0 by Pinkfairie
I'm running TF2 on a linux server with the latest sourcemod snapshot.
This plugin makes the player fly up in the air rofl |
Re: Blink (Self-Teleport) v1.0 by Pinkfairie
Well i guess detecting the angle of the player is different to TF2. That's prob the reason why it doesn't work proberly.
