Map Vote Mod

Hello, everyone.
i have a question and i'm looking for a vote system for my cs 1.6 server.
Since I play on other servers from time to time, I noticed a vote system, for example, in which you enter "nom de" in the chat to select a map that will later appear in the vote. do you happen to know which mod that is? or maybe you can recommend a vote mod to me !?

thanks in advance !!!
best regards

Re: Map Vote Mod

This feature is called "map nomination". Several map choosing plugins have this feature including Galileo and Deagles' Map Management.

Re: Map Vote Mod

Hello, everyone

I have now installed Galileo on my server or have inserted the files as described in the instructions. I also compiled the .sma to an .amxx file and saved it in the / plugins folder. then inserted the entry galileo.amxx in plugins.ini. I also have the two "nextmap.amxx and mapchooser.amxx" in the plugins.ini with the symbol; set in front of it.
my first problem is, somehow I don't get automatic map voting. I have to start this manually via the amxmod menu plugin commands. How do I get that this somehow works automatically after about 20 minutes of map playing time?
my second problem is, when the map selection appears, it looks like this with me with these weird r1, r2 and y. what can be the reason?

I would be happy if you could help me further!
and please excuse my bad english.

google was my helper!

best regards

Re: Map Vote Mod

The end-of-map vote should be enabled by default. The vote will come up approximately 2 minutes before the end of the map (assuming the map is set to end at all i.e. mp_timelimit is non-zero). This feature can be en/disabled with the gal_endofmapvote cvar to make sure that it's set to 1.

Make sure that you're game is up-to-date from Valve using Steam and ensure that you're using the official version of HLDS from Valve also.

Re: Map Vote Mod

I've never personally had that issue but I believe it relates to your compiling the plugin (there are other posts here about this issue so you might be able to find some of those for a resolution).

It's hard to search for but I did find one post that that mentions that the web compiler will strip out the backslashes that are necessary for menu colors.

Don't compile with the web compiler as it strips out the backslashes.
Compile locally and see if you have this problem

Check your private messages, I sent you a link to try.

That is completely unnecessary for this request. However, if you're really wanting to re-write it (which has been done before) then you're certainly welcome to write it and post it as a new plugin submission so that people can review and test it.
