3 Attachment(s)
Description: Attaches particle systems to a configurable list of projectiles.Commands:
Cvars:
Config File: The plugin reads the config file at addons/sourcemod/data/projectile_particles.cfg for a list of particle systems to attach - the structure of which is below. This example adds a blue trail to syringes and beams to huntsman arrows, and is also used in the sample file attached to the bottom of this post.Config File Usage: You may use keywords Particle/Particles and Cluster/Clusters, the latter being the number of groups of particles to use (particle volume). You may also specify multiple particles separated with a comma, and zero whitespace, e.g. "coin_blue,critical_grenade_red_extra"Installation: Place ProjectileParticles.smx into your addons/sourcemod/plugins folder.Changelog:

Possible projectiles:
Thanks to Powerlord for the list:Possible particles: The following is a list of all particle effects currently in the game. Some are intended to be used when attached to weapons, but I'll leave them in for reference. Many thanks to Sreaper for the updated list. |

Re: [TF2] Projectile Particles
not bad
config file... in /data/ folder... okay. |
Re: [TF2] Projectile Particles
Fab - thank you! Interested to know how the numerical value of a cluster affects the look of a particle effect. Is "2" twice the trail length of "1" for example? Is it particle volume? I'll take. Look.
