The quickest fix for you is probably to delete the allmaps.txt file. It will be regenerated automatically by this plugin the next time the server is started. |

Re: Deagles' Map Management 3.23
This plugin lags an accelerated server just before the vote comes up, not sure why that would be?
I have gone back and forth between accelerate and non accelerated, without the pingboost plugin works fine, with it you get lag |
Re: Deagles' Map Management 3.23
Server operators with more than 600 maps are experiencing server hang / precaching resources. The culprit has been identified and it appears this plugin causes a server with > 600 maps to cause mild server hang on map change. After 900 maps the hang starts to become more apparent and is based on the number of maps that are processed from the maps directory folder. Many servers experience this problem if they have alot of maps and once it starts to become a nuisance server operators are forced to remove maps from their maps folder. I've done a detailed diagnostic with this issue on both windows server and linux servers but their doesnt seem to be any other method to remedy this issue without simply reducing the map count.

Re: Deagles' Map Management 3.23
Same response as here. What happened to using Galileo?

Re: Deagles' Map Management 3.23
I posted here because the same problem occurs on both plugins. Im not sure if i should post here although im guessing it would be a good idea to have a symbolic link of some kind just for reference. Galileo was causing intermittent hard crashes during changes. We decided not to use Galileo because the crashes were sporadic and happen occasionally. The server operator stated no errors were output in the logs although i dont believe they have console access to see the raw data as it happens. In the end the server operator became very skeptical about using Galileo because the hardcrashes would only occur during peak hours when the tfc server was full. I'm sure there probably was a reasonable explanation that could have been addressed although im guessing at this point. In the end they decided to stick with deags map manager. (edit)The operator suspects it may have been setting gals pagination to 100 from the default 10
