[Paid Request][TF2] Text-to-speech

Is it possible at all to create a plugin that tts whatever is in chat? (Similar to Moonbase Alpha)
How hard would it be to create such a plugin?

It's possible to be done in two ways
* Best way would be using hidden motd with your own text-to-speech Server will sent informations to site whenever player says something so it would play from site newly generated sound to chat or specific player or nearly players.

* Make .wav or .mp3 files for specific letters A,B,C,D,E,F,G.... and make them play in specific order when player says something (Lots of stuff to download thought)

you are out of luck with the motd one, the second is just useless, thats not how text to speech works

So no possible way of making this plugin now, is that what you're saying?

you could probably use festival to generate .wav from the text and iirc there was some usermessage/tempentity to play a wav file as player voice from the server, i dont remember how to do it though

edit: nvm the clients had to download the file to be able to play it. i thought the server streamed it just like any other voice data

1. Make a website that takes in a connection to the server, or even a php page.
2. make that website text-to-speech that text.
3. display the website to players that page.

That's a solid idea but I still need someone to do it for commission, can't do it myself.
