I take it you read my latest post in noodleboy347's (unapproved) Premium Mod thread where I stated I'd be coding in a very simple SourceMod menu with the ability for donators to equip Unusual hat particle effects.

I say this because it'd be weird if you didn't, what with me posting about doing way before you made this thread.

Good plugin nonetheless, coding looks a bit too complicated for my tastes

Actually, I had no idea...
I made this for another server, but controversy and stuff caused it to be removed. So i'm just publicly releasing it.

Ah good, you used TF2Items for this.
As a heads up, if you try attaching the particles, you can lag out clients (because some particles don't disappear when they're killed!)

Well, i'm just using the attribute for attaching particles, in the whole 5 days that this was in-use, I got no complaints of crashing/lagging out.

I also remember people saying "don't use TF2Items and make people pay to have fake unusuals, valve won't like that". I guess the opinions changed from that time then.

In my opinion, this shouldn't exist. We lost model attachments and the extension for it, i'd rather not lose anything else. lol
