I have a slightly odd question to ask here so if the question starts to sound retarded, please try to be patient.

Does the amount of amxx plugins affect the hit registry of bullets etc. on the game Natural Selection?

Obviously baring in mind Amxx is actually loaded, will the hit reg. be affected by too many Amxx plugins?
If yes, is there a rough plugin count to stay below to keep the hit reg. acceptable?

Absolutely, and it's not just for Natural Selection, it's for every mod.

Get rid of many of AMXX's default plugins that you do not need, disable modules you don't need, and use a small amount of plugins should keep it fine.

I'd have to say having about 15-20 plugins is all right for the server, and the lower the better.

(Or not having AMXX or Metamod installed at all is better. ;) )

hardly anless the server cpu and bandwith can hardly take the mod as it is now, anless of course your running intensive cpu plugins, but it is a good idea to keep plugins low as possible you wont be seeing any bullets not registering anless you load like 50 plugins or numerous large plugins.

Point well taken. Even on servers without METAMOD sometimes hitboxes are teh fucked. I know I always get blamed for having bugged hitboxes...although my rates are fine.
