Because - sound in html style must buffer before play. Download one time - you hear full song, no part of sound, wait for buffer - next part. This method are bad for slowly servers or players with high ping for server with embed sound.

I love this instead of ANNOYING mani...

this works fine when server is restarted. however, after changing maps, the sound does not work.

How can i fix this.

Oh btw...

I forgot to mentioned that it is NOT a servers white list problem... as I also run quake sounds i correctly configured the enter_sounds in the servers white list .txt

Also, I didnt mean the sounds dont work at all, the .mp3 seems to play some times.
But when changing maps it does not.

Also the sm entersound CVAR is enabled properly in the serve.cfg.

Updated, fixed some bugs.

this works perfect.
.mp3 sounds a little fuzzy which it didnt before, probably the player issue.
but this is working fine every server restart and every map change.

Kemsam, I have my server setup using an sv_downloadurl. I discovered if I just upload the files there, they download and play. Is there a reason I should also upload them to my game server?
