    [TF2] Arena: Reloaded

    v1.0.0

    Description:
    This is a public and open-source clone of Arena: Respawn. Arena: Respawn is supposed to become public later, but is apparently unnecessarily complex, requiring Stripper:Source and certain server configurations.

    There are three changes:
    • Standing on the point marks you for death
    • Capturing the control point respawns all members of the capper's team
    • Capturing the control point therefore does not end the round
    Arena: Reloaded runs on regular arena maps and will automatically unload itself on non-arena maps.

    Cvars:
    • arena_reloaded_version - plugin version
    • arena_reloaded_auto_update - enables automatic updating (has no effect if Updater is not installed)
    • arena_reloaded_mark_for_death_fade (default 2.0) - time it takes the marked-for-death status to fade after stepping off the point (-1 to disable mark-for-death entirely)

    Requirements:
    This requires DHooks.

    Installation:
    Install DHooks, and then put arena_reloaded.smx into /addons/sourcemod/plugins and arena-reloaded.games.txt into /addons/sourcemod/gamedata and reboot your server or type "sm plugins load arena_reloaded" into your console or rcon.

    Auto Update:
    Install Updater. The plugin will be auto-updated according to your Updater settings. It'll work without Updater.

    Download Arena: Reloaded

    Requires updater.inc, dhooks.inc and mckayupdater.sp to compile.

    Welp. I probably should have searched before writing my own clone, but I'm leaving this one up because it's quite a bit simpler and doesn't hijack any default cvars.

    Beat you by 3 days mate

    I think dhooks is unnecessary and makes mine simpler. Oh and I change that cvar because my plugin already has a round timer but I will compromise in a future version and push the tf_arena_round_time timer to the background.

    DHooks also has the problem where 1.0.13 has a bunch of unfixed issues (and will never be fixed) while 2.0 (currently) requires SM 1.7 to run.

    Then again, that's why I posted "1.9.0", which is 2.0.0 with crash fixes* before the change that made it 1.7 specific.

    *Mainly because I was the one hunting down and fixing the crash issues.
