So if I place the mp3 file in the directory 217.163.22.34:27015/l4d/left4dead/sounds/consnd/ it should be located if I use "sm_join_sound "consnd/mymp3.mp3"?

I'm just trying to make sure that it will treat "left4dead" as the roof directory.

This plug-in doesn't seem to be working for CS:S, either. Clients download the sound, but it doesn't play. Can you fix this?

I tested it with following configuration:

OS: Windows
MM: 1.7
SM: 1.2
MOD: TF2

and it's working

here's a plugin with a alternativ way to play the sound:

please test both versions and post the result with informations about OS,SM version and the used MOD.

Answer is prolly no but is there any way to make this play louder server side? Or is it based on client prefs
