    This looks perfect now. What does it do when it spawns a hat on someone that already has a hat?

    it cannot remove hats the game has at this point unfortunately.

    Didn't test, but my guess is that the hats will be overlapped, that's kinda why the user should wear it off.

    I can confirm that the hats do overlap. You can be an Engi with the Engi hat and equip the soldier hat, then you have like 2 things on your head.

    Is the overlap noticeable? I know coding in client prefs would be very time consuming but it would let users turn off a hat forever. This plugin seems to find out if clients have an unlock, im sure hats arent any different.

    One more thing, because this uses game data files, can you add a check or something so this doesnt cause crashes after an update.

    Only one bug I can see, and it isn't that major, but screws up the Dead Ringer in a real game. Pretending to die with the Dead Ringer leaves your corpse with a RED hat... even if you're on BLU.
