i am sorta new at this stuff i am trying to make a server but wut i need toi no is if i need to have admin mod running at the same time or does it have to be just amxx.


i also notice that amxx has less commands then admin wut are the benifits of admin and amxx

AMX Mod X or Admin Mod? Hmm..., man, you should think yourself. Say I like listening to Rammstein, other guys like Jessica Simpson, so...
Yeah, you should have only one of these mods.
You can increase the number of commands by increasing the number of plugins.

admin-mod is for basic server administration. amxx has more "fun" stuff and is generally more powerful (but not yet as stable or well documented)

amxx's biggest advantage is it's being developed, amx and adminmod are not in development stages

my other question is:so i installed amxx and i put a plugin in like superhero mod or roll the dice or war3 can i have all of thoes in the foldure so i say a command and 1 turns on or do i have to take 1 out then put the other in?

That is a bit more advanced, some of those plugins require different modules to run... running them all would be system intensive... but then again I run all kinds of stuff daily and suggest you try anything you want on your server... you'll like it

I havent seen a new version of adminmod in a long time...
None of the plugins are being made for adminmod, because it is a pain to write plugins for (They both use small, but adminmod has some obsurce commands)

I would say run AmxX.. its pretty much like a choice between Win98SE (Still good, but no more updates) and WinXP (good, and updated)
