    Spawn Kill Retribution

This is a basic spawn protection plugin with a little twist - any damage dealt to someone who has recently spawned will instead be dealt to the person who attacked them. The damage reversal code is based off of the Mirror Damage plugin written by strontiumdog.

The plugin does not take any sort of admin or immunity level into consideration - spawn killing is spawn killing, regardless of admin status.

This plugin should work on most Source games/mods, but has only been tested thoroughly on Team Fortress 2. This plugin differs from existing generic spawn protection plugins as they only grant immunity to newly spawned players. This actively punishes people who spawn kill.

This plugin should work on any Source game, however it has only been tested on these games:
    • Team Fortress 2
If you have a game or mod that you are using this for, please let me know so I can add it to the list! Thank you.

    Installation
Installation is incredibly easy, install the plugin in your /addons/sourcemod/plugins/ directory and refresh your plugin list, or change map.

    Configuration
A config file will automatically be generated in /cfg/sourcemod/ when the plugin is first ran.

sm_ret_enableteam2 - Enable retribution for players who are on the Red / Terrorists / Team 2 team
sm_ret_enableteam3 - Enable retribution for players who are on the Blue / Counter-Terrorists / Team 3 team
sm_ret_announce - Announce to relevent players that the plugin is active for them at their first spawn of a game
sm_ret_duration - Duration of spawn protection

Funny. I like it. I just had a few people telling me we had some people camping spawn on one of our servers (rtd server with noclip), so I may actually be loading this.

Well I guess something is broken, this is the 2nd thread I made and it doesn't like the plugin info I put in there, so whatever.

Sounds good! Be sure to let me know if you have any problems.

This sounds great. I'm going to install this as soon as I can. Will be nice to make it out of the spawn for a change!

You're missing a few lines on that error log, specifically the ones telling what exactly the problem is on that line. The code looks good, so once you (msleeper) fill out the plugin description and such in the first post, it should be approved.

Any news from the author on this? I'm not a fan on installing unapproved plugins on my servers...

Oh wow I didn't even know this was disapproved. I'll fix this in the next day or so.
