I don't understand why people ban for +jump;wait;-jump bound to spacebar.... it's the exact same thing as using mwheelup or down bound to +jump.

They both require A LOT less timing then using 'bind space "+jump"', except instead of spamming mwheel you just have to press spacebar at the right moment. I'd be inclined to say that using jump;wait on spacebar is WAY harder that spamming mwheel, but yet you guys ban for it.

Doesn't make sense to me. I have been using +jump;wait;-jump;wait;+jump;wait;-jump;-jump bound to spacebar since bhopping was introduced in team fortress classic (8 years ago?) and this was perfectly acceptable in CPL play (it used to be called the CPL bhop script) and league play.

I don't think it's fair that just because I have used spacebar to bhop (with jump;wait) for my entire HL career that I should be penalized because I'm not comfortable using mwheel.

So tell me, why are jump;wait scripts frowned upon?

If you can't see that...

bind space "+jump;wait;-jump;wait;+jump;wait;-jump;-jump"

and

bind mwheelup "+jump"

...do the exact same thing, then you have issues.

Edit: Don't get me wrong _special and those types are in their own category and take absolutely no skill whatsoever.

I have no idea what you're talking about, who the "you" that you're talking about are, or why you're apparently posting something related to CS 1.6 in a SourceMod forum. The best I can guess is you're ranting about a server admin somewhere you feel has wronged you.
