I used your model for my HnS server for frostnade its sick thanks +KARMA
but i think u should make snowball mod also. we can play it on HE maps with Snowy day environment. I know there is a plugin to make snow.

This is a good idea. look at the sprite(white) for paintball mod. u can use that also for the time when they hit somebody or a wall.

I think..someone has already made this mod before. I remember playing a Snowball mod a few months ago.

All you really have to do to make the snowball mod is switch around some code and models from amx_dodgeball and VIOLA, snowball mod.

I was going to do this, have respawn on, and have DOD like flags or CTF (because snowball is usually played with flags in either's base) and then just change the models for the dodgeball to snowballs and they drop a few nades in the map some where. Sounds like a snowball mod to me but hey, I'm way too lazy.

Maybe someone has made snowball mod already, but he did this only for his server, so i'm gonna make it. Maybe some ideas, what should be snowball (flashbang etc.)?

You should not ask that. That's not up to you to decide. Just be patient.


Your plugin can be improved a bit.

- CurWeapon ; instead of doing a check each time, you can specify directly the weapon id in register_event(). : register_event("CurWeapon","func_modelchange_ hook","be","1=1","2=4","2=9","2=25")
- pev_viewmodel; either cache the value from EngFunc_AllocString, either use directly pev_viewmodel2. ( no need to allocate )
- forward_model ; instead of checking the whole string and using if/elseif, you should try to check just few letters and using a switch, it will more faster. ( If you don't see, tell me, I will give you the answer )
- Instead of writing '22', use the define : TE_BEAMFOLLOW
- new MODEL* ; since the string is constant, it doesn't hurt to specify new const


I would like to hear snowball sound and some snow effect on touch ( not seeing explosion.. ).
It exists an HL Snow Mod which you can make snowballs (attack2) when you are on the ground ( outside ), otherwise you can't throw them (attack1). I don't remember the gameplay exactly.
What I mean is try to do a plugin more realistic. ^^ ( Hmm, maybe should I do a Snow Mod. )
