Hi guys, I've been trying to find a way to prevent players respawning themselves upon death, but so far, all the apparent convential methods, such as changing the pev_deathflag, removing/ignoring the +attack command through PreThink and the FM_CmdStart forward have all been fruitless. The game completely ignores any attempt to block the attack button or prevent the player respawning. Am I missing something stupidly obvious here, or is TS 3.0 exhibiting yet another annoying example of how to make a feature near-impossible to modify?

C'mon, there must be someone who can help?

How can I either
a) Disable the fire button
b) Prevent respawning
on TS 3.0?

Apart from slaying them on spawn?

What did you try changing deadflag to? I should have thought to "alive" might be the best way.

You might have to look into the sourcecode for TS and see what checks you can get it to fail ...

I don't think it's possible, the actual settings for it are within the game rather than a plugin.

You could loop a task that will kill anyone that tries to respawn until you're ready to allow them or whatever... I don't think it would be very efficient though.
