This might sound irritating and or very annoying but thought this should be addressed. Me and many others have failed at learning to code for a reason unseen I think. We simply do not understand the material presented. What I've seen done for many languages is a complete course in learning to code it and maybe this can be done for AMXX. People have different learning styles and when you just say this is how it is done, I often wonder, why? All the tutorials sound like they are meant for people who know what everything is, but not how to use it. I've read through many tutorials and nothing seems to quite frankly, "click" for me. Some people are able to make leaps to learn this stuff but some of us require baby steps or we get lost. Like learning a new language, we need to know what every word means before we can use it and we need to know how to use it and when to use it. I think it is grand some people understand this right away but many of us don't and need a little more help. If anyone is willing to start a crash course, would be very thankful and would like to see previews of the work to help make sure it is clear.

I'll give you one "Crash Course" that I wrote quite a while back. I never really did completely finish everything I intended, but someday I might :-). PLUS, it may not be perfect because let's just say I don't like to proofread my work all that often :-).

Slmclarengt, you should submit that to the tutorial section.
It is very well written IMO.

He's talking about AMXX not PAWN. I don't think there is an in-depth AMXX refference guide. The PAWN documentation can be found here. While AMXX's implementation of the compiler has some limitations, the generalities are preserved.

See if this helps any. I learned by looking at other plugins and testing stuff for myself. I also used the funcwiki a lot. Anyways, this tutorial helped me grasp the basics since it is more similar to C, and I started at Java.
