Please do share. Also will it work using fake touch? Because your other thread (about detecting touching the ladder) says that you cant hook it to touch.

Sorry I think expressed it badly. I was trying to say that his argument about being impractible to make a ladder through script was inadequate. I've never tried to do it my self though.

I think didn't get that. (why would you want to fake touch a ladder anyway?)

I've just checked that you can actually make a func_ladder with any texture in hammer (tried to compile with both hlbsp and old qbsp2). So, your supposition is likely to be wrong.

Because I want to make a ladder without a specific origin and/or be triggered if a certain entity is touched.

even if it compiles, you can't climb the ladder.

edit:

btw, I meant aaatrigger, not aaatexture incase I confused anyone, I'll edit my preview post.

You can climb it, I wouldn't have posted if I hadn't tested that.

How weird, it didn't work when I tried it a while back, but if you say it works, then it works.

edit: You're right, I just tried it myself. Sorry about that.

and what exactly is the "brush"? It has the same model, modelindex, absmin, absmax as an existing ladder.
I'm not sure what you mean by "the brush", but if you're using an existing ladder entity, then I'm wrong. Doh.
