According to your current code the HUD Reset is only called on non-alive player spawn. Hence you are sure that the HUD Reset is never called on alive player respawn. So the question. Is in that HL Modification alive player respawn can't happen at all?

Not sure what your getting at... but if i assume your talking about the reset hud function and the spawn function... It has to be done that way or else the plugin will continue handling functions and commands once the player is already dead, and at that same time... if I didn't do this, the player would continusly get resupplied even if they're dead. so it would create a new task over the old one which was set to an infinite loop. which was changed thanks to Teame06, and we also have it so every player death and disconnect it cancels out the task that was set. And if your wondering why it looks a bit odd, code wise, "HUD Reset is only called on non-alive player spawn" yes i do know this, but in Sven-Coop im pretty sure HUDreset happens every spawn. not before the spawn. I could be incorrect. but if i do change it from hudreset to something else it won't work as it was programmed to do.

I believe you missed my point. For example when player forcing a HUD update with the corresponding client command you'll get an additional loop task. So you have to check for duplicate task existence before creating a new task.

Hmmm, well when the player(id) dies it removes that task before the resethud and the same applys for client_disconnected.

I'm saying that HUD Reset could be called more than once for alive player.

Do not retrieve the same CVar value twice, cache it in a variable.
