I know in TFC there is kind of a drugged effect, is it possible throughout the HL engine to create entities that only 1 player can see?

Also, is there a way to create and scale a player model?...no movement or anything?

Well you could send a tempentity message to only that client using the MSG_ONE destination (or a playerattachement or something)

temp entities do not allow you to alter them in any way, however. ie- they do not have entity ids.

Thanks PM! -- So MSG_ONE will send to just 1 player, right?

And that works with sprites, etc right?

Yes temp ents is the way to go but as stated you can't do anything with them once the messages to create them are sent to the client. As usual, const.h in the SDK describes what different temp ents you can use.

Hmmm, that kinda bites. It would still be good for making a harassing plugin...like say...dropping a bouncing HE grenade model in front of them.
