Hi,

in my server.cfg is the rule rcon_password xxx

I usw HLSW to get RCON connection on my Server! But nothing work! HLSW says Cant Connect!

rcon dont work in my Console when iam on my Server!

Help!

First off, this is not SourceMod related.

Secondly, if HLSW says Can't connect, there doesn't have to be any problems with rcon. Did you check firewall settings both on the server and on your PC?

Did you provide your password with double quotes:

rcon_password "yourpasswdhere"
And did you enter the rcon password in remote client console before issueing rcon commands?

If its not a firewall/routing issue, than its just RCON breaking for no apparent reason. A known bug reported 10000000 times to Valve. Its fixed my restarting your server process.

If this is for a Source server, then you should run one of the later versions of HLSW. 1.0.0.38 is the latest alpha. Most of the earlier versions cannot use HL2-based rcon.
