for those of you who know tmobile, is the Sidekick II triband or not? im guessing it is cause of all the capabilites, please dont post mindless gibberish like "whats tmobile sickdie 1I " or anything like that i just need to know if it is triband or not

Guess so. Google helps a lot mehmet. Sidekicks suck anyways, who needs a damn cell phone. Especially at 12, you go to school, you go home, you go out with friends, etc. Wow you really need a cellphone, burning a 40 dollar hole in your parent's pocket every month. What I really hate most is those kids with ridiculously expensive phones, like the 500 dollar ones and start bragging about it. Oh yes a camera phone, how great. Who the hell needs a damn camera in their phone? I'm going to spend an extra 200 dollars just so I can have a third rate camera in my phone when I can buy a 50 dollar digital camera that's about 20 times better. Don't give me that convenience bull shit.

At 12 he doesn't understand the concept of money well enough to be bothered by it, all he knows is he has to be "cool" (Mehmet possessions don't really make you any better then the next guy, it's not a necessity)... They don't realize that it could put a burden on their parents and the parents will never say anything cause they love their children...

look, i know the concept of money. i have been saving up i have enough for a phone, or i can continue for a laptop. i dont need a new laptop cause im content with mine, and my parents have rejected me getting new stuff alot of times

But not from a cell phone. You think you understand money but try going to college without a scholarship or your parent's supporting you, paying for your tuition and whatnot. Bah doesn't matter go waste your money on something that you don't need. I'm being sort of a hypocrite because I've got games and whatnot, but 40 dollars a month (that's the general amount of money for a cell phone plan about 1000 minutes, and that's considering he doesn't use all of his minutes up which I doubt he will) and like a 200 dollar phone. Hell I'd be fine with a 10 dollar cell phone (yes they have those) but I could care less because I don't need a cellphone, nor do I want one. 25 cents a call from a payphone isn't going to kill me, and there are payphones around every corner. Do what you want mehmet this is just my opinion.

lol i hardly used mine so i cancelled it and got one of those pay as you go phones. saves me about $30 a month. not that i need to save...

just buy a cheep phone and get virgin mobile or Tmobile on the go, almost all of the big cell phone companys have pay as you go, because at 14 i am out alot, i have no use for 500 Min a month, i only use like 100, only use it for problems, all together i have paid 100 dollars for 1 year of service, and another 20 for my phone! do that, save the rest for somethign that matters, say a car, or maybe a new bike!

Well, Guy i would have to agree with you. Paying for college with out a scholarship or my parents support is the hardest thing i have ever done. Also yes the only reason i have a cell phone is for work. I mean i wouldn't want to pay the $60 a month i spend if i was just talking to my friends and family. I mean i get about 1000 minutes plus unlimited nights and weekends. On my friends and family i use lets say about 100 of those minutes. But i wouldn't be paying that much if i didnt use the rest on work. So yes payphones are good. But for some people a cell phone is there support or what they think they need for emergencies.

Yeah cellphones are good for work, my dad is important to the project at his work because he makes decisions, so he always needss to be in touch with the project, but he doesn't want to have to be at work from 5am till 12 pm

the tmobile sidkicks bills are well above the three hundreds a month thats how much my boy pays hes a youngn bt he has three jobs he earns all his shyt but he has all the shyt included like unlimited ims and shyt. in my opinion its not worth the 300 a month might as well save you money and buy a buncch of porn or something it will do better for y ou in the long run lol....
