A simple little plugin that I've only found 1 of, and that one had some issues, such as not being able to restrict it to admins, and not being able to outright disable it.

ConVar's
  • sm_wepinspect_version - Don't touch this
  • sm_wepinspect_enabled - (0-1) Enables or disables the plugin
  • sm_weapinspect_fntblock - (0-1) Block inspection of food and throwable items

Requires TF2 Attributes

Override:
"inspect_admin"

At some point, I suspect Valve may allow normal weapons to be inspected, but until then, this will do

Should mention, some weapons may show a bugged "inspect" view, but works a charm for the most part.

Except I didn't copy anything, I typed everything in except Plugin myinfo because I keep a template of that around

A funny note: It's possible to inspect food and thrown items, I'm not sure if I'm gonna keep this in or filter them out, it's hilarious

Eh, I went ahead and made a cvar controllable blocking of food or throwables, and fixed a copy paste error where I left out cvar descriptions, OP updated

You forgot to block the scout drinks and the jarate

Those should be correct. I know the bonk one still is due some item testing stuffs I was doing.

Speaking of which, I should update that with the new weapons if someone didn't already.

Also, the new "class" for taunts (which is "no_entity". Yes, really.).

However, I'm about to leave, so if I do update it, it won't be for a bit.
