Why 256? Your plugin should store and give back server sys_ticrate. Not 256 exactly (defined by you).

Would be nice to see some test results. For example, when empty server working with 50 FPS and with 256.
I think this difference equal ~1-3% CPU usage .

I like the code but i hear that hamsandwich is far more lite then fakemeta.
Also i think you can bypass

• g_maxplayers = get_maxplayers
• for (id = 1; id <= g_maxplayers; id++)

with 1.8.3-4627 amxx
for (id = 1; id <= MaxClients; id++)

The idea is good and keep life of the cpu ;)

you should think about making this dynamic for example make a cvar how much sys_ticrate for evry player for example +50 sys_ticrate for evry player joins defined by cvar.
