well, i think i know the prob
gonna retest it out with another function
i dont think i should link it to the ResetHud event, cause a lot of stuff happens then

if your talking about the code in the first post ^^ then your doing it wrong because your giving weapons, not taking away.


ResetHUD will get called every time a user gets spawned (even in the middle of the round). It will also get called upon a user typing fullupdate or something like that (i forgot the command) in console.

you have to wait until the player is no longer "respawning" ( flashing )

so what should he use then if the resethud is making troubles?
can you actually know when the resethud stops flickering ?

"strip_user_weapons" takes the weapons away ??

then i readd them with the "give_item"

but like el.pirata said, does anyone know how to get the end of the flickering hud?

There 3 possible solutions

The noobish one:
resetHud +CVARVALUE( mp_invul...time )

The advanced one:
Check for changes in the deadflag ( better:respawn offset ) + 0.1 sec

The 1337 one:
Wait for Evolution III, which allows to restrict every single weapon
