TF2Skill - A Trueskill Implementation


TF2 Skill is an adaptation of Microsoft’s TrueSkill ranking system into source games. This plugin has only been tested and designed to work with Team Fortress 2.

Features

• Web Interface- has a website interface to display on your website
• Non-point based- Functions as an Elo derived ranking system
• Threaded- Support for simultaneous servers all using the same listener
• AutoUpdate- The plugin will automatically update itself when updates are available. You will always have the most up-to-date version of the plugin

CVar/Command List

sm_trueskill_version // public CVar shows the plugin version
sm_trueskill_minClients 16    //minimum number of clients required to track ranking
sm_trueskill_url "http://server.com/trueskill.php" //url to trueskill php file
sm_trueskill_global "50" //minimum rank to display globally to the server, 0 for off

sm_rank //view player's rank

I got this plugin running on my mge server to supplement mge stats not working on my website (they work in game) I appreciate your plugin and I hope that others will give it a try as well. Thanks for making this and do you have any plans for future updates?

Yusufali, I get connection errors when trying to access the installation documentation. Any solution? This sounds fantastic for my skillsurf/jump/MGE servers.

(Edit: an cavemantutorials has expired...I hope this project hasn't died! Meanwhile I'll try and piece together how to work with Python myself but 95% chance I'll bork it...)
